I am looking for Seed Capital for a new venture. I am planning at starting up an online portal for booking Hotels in India. The concept for my portal is relatively new in India as, currently, there is no portal in India, which focuses exclusively on Hotels, and, that too, Domestic. Further, the portal would be supported by an interactive software to allow Hotels to update their availability status directly on our site instead of doing it on a GDS (Global Distribution System), and, then, our site picking it up by paying the GDS company for access.
The portal would even have provision for White-label websites, wherein we would create a franchisee network, who would help us increase our reach and sales opportunities.
Further, the portal, once fully functional and with a strong foothold in India, would extend operations to other parts of the world.
