Description:
A “Pod Head” is a person who drinks their coffee, tea or hot chocolate from a machine that brews one cup at a time. (Brew it like you drink it!!)

The single serve beverage industry is booming. There are about six different brands of brewers using four different types of “pods”. There are over 320 different varieties of coffee, tea and hot chocolate drinks available.

The leader, Keurig, sold over 2.3 million machines in 2009, up from 983,000 in 2008, including both home and office models. Sales of the K-Cups – the single serve coffee packages – also shot up 63%, up from 1 billion in 2008 to 1.6 billion in 2009. (Specialty Coffee Retailer, March 2010.)
Most of the brewers and “pods” are sold online, with a few retailers carrying a very narrow assortment. Most stores only carry one maybe two brands at best with a handful of the pods.

We want to bring it all under one roof. We want to open a retail store that serves this exploding market. We will serve all the different markets; at home, office and hospitality service and drive thru and mobile coffee service.

We are looking for $1.4 Million dollars for initial funding in exchange for 45% of equity in the company.
