Description:
I’m currently starting up my own business called Tandoh Homes where aims to provide Eco Housing solutions for the private and affordable (social) housing sectors. Research shows that Timber Frame home environmentally friendly Yes, All timbers are taken from renewable sources; there isn’t a more friendly way to build, unlike tropical forests, Nordic and UK forests are actually growing in size and because trees absorb carbon dioxide, CO2 omissions are reduce, therefore helping to reduce the effects of Global Warming. Converting timber into a usable product also takes less energy and generates less greenhouse gases than conventional building materials, concrete uses 5 times and steel 6 times more energy to produce than timber.

Tandoh Homes, wants to develop a thriving community rather than a 9 to 5 destination we need to build in housing provision at the initial planning stage. Within the rather technical term there will be a range of options to suit different needs, from social rented housing to shared equity with varied size and means of access also catered for. That’s why we Tandoh Homes, have made it there mission to develop and build properties that make the best of both. In fact, to us a property is only attractive, if it is beneficial to the environment. By that we mean that properties we build or develop should be at least carbon neutral, energy efficient and at the same time practical, comfortable to work and live in and easy to run. To us, making environmental sense goes hand in hand with making financial sense.
Tandoh Homes, is looking for funders interested in working with Tandoh Homes to help fund and build Eco Housing throughout the UK. Working along side the architect, project manager, constructions teams and Interior designer we aim to bring back low cost environmentally friendly housing like seen in the 1940’s- 50,s with a modern flair and this would be the new future. I would love to then expand the company to the USA to build homes for low income family. Then work with the government to place low income and single family in the apartments.
I will email you my Business plan upon request.
